Lift the top layer of your hair and set it aside. You'll be working on the underlayer. Place the iron close to the roots of the underlayer and clamp for a few seconds.

Will it leave my hair feeling dirty or sticky?
It will not leave your hair feeling dirty or sticky. It does however provide a buildable texture to the hair that can leave the feeling like it has grip. The grip is what builds volume that lasts all day. We recommend starting with a small amount of product til you feel comfortable, then build from there if more volume is desired. You may also brush through the product once it’s applied. That will help to disperse the product throughout the hair shaft, keeping the hair soft and voluptuous.
Can I apply everyday?
You can apply as little or as often as you would like. It is safe to use daily if that is what your heart desires!
Does it show on dark hair?
Not at all. It will absorb right into the hair with no white residue.
Is it gluten free?
Yes.
Is this a dry shampoo?
Our texture powder contains oil absorbing properties, but is not marketed as a dry shampoo.

This product is amazing!!! I've followed Harmony for a few years now and have come to really trust the things she recommends, let alone things she has formulated now for hair! I'm very frugal, and hate to waste money, but these items have saved my hair and have definitely not been a waste! 1) the root texturizer was the first thing I tried. Amazing. Makes my hair keep volume at the roots, makes my hair less oily, and much more able to go multiple days in between hair washing....which i have NEVER been able to do. 2) the defend and detangle was second. Spray it on after my shower/hair washing.....and it's just awesome. Smells good, makes my hair silky smooth and easy to brush through....and protects!! I really love this and would recommend for all long hair! 3) the Harmonize Beauty Voloom - it's more pricey so I waited as long as I could before taking the plunge, but this hair tool makes me honestly speechless. I have never had too much volume...and the first time I used it my daughter was in shock at what it did to my hair, as was I!! I have actually had to taper back the amout of clamps I do to not make it toooo root-poofy. Not a bad problem to have though, haha! I use it every first day hair wash and it stays for days. I can't say enough good things about it. I have bought tools before because of hype- and then not used them much at all...this is not that. This is a game changer.
Love this tool! My hair is very dense and I always feel like even though there’s a lot of it, it is flat on my head. This tool fluffs it right up and gives me that volume I always try to get with teasing that never holds! Even on day 2, it’s still full of body. Love it!

Absolutely created volume on fine thin hair.
It adds volume to your hair, but it’s very temporary. And also gives your hair sort of a crimped dry look maybe I have the heat too high at 365 but I feel it has to be at at least 365 to even give a little bit of volume, but I do feel it makes it look dried out the hair. So I would give it an average rating, which is why I picked three stars.

This tool adds texture which equals volume and it is easy and quick! I bought one for my mother as well. Just do a thin section around the crown of your head and cover with non textured sections. Watch her videos.

This is truly the most amazing way to get volume in the hair! I’ve never had a tool like this that I can honestly say works wonders on my hair. I hadn’t washed my hair in 2 days when I tried it out. My hair is somewhat thin at the top and gets flat near my part after a couple of days but I try to go 3 days without washing it. The Voloom iron definitely gave me the volume & lift I need to easily take it to a 3rd day of no washing and probably to a 4th using it along with some dry shampoo. I like it much better than only using volumizing products. The quality of the iron is solid and it heats up in no time. I would definitely recommend it!
